Our client, a national leader in title and escrow services, is seeking a seasoned Senior Underwriting Counsel to join its Agency Division. This is a unique opportunity to serve as a trusted legal advisor on complex real estate transactionspartnering with internal teams, agents, and clients to deliver strategic underwriting guidance and risk analysis.

What Youll Do
- Provide underwriting counsel and authorization for title insurance commitments and policies
- Evaluate risk and apply underwriting standards within delegated authority
- Advise on real estate settlement services and transactional matters
- Develop and deliver training and educational presentations to internal teams and clients
- Partner cross-functionally to support a high-volume, complex transaction pipeline
What You Bring
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school; active NY Bar admission
- 715 years of commercial title underwriting or related commercial real estate experience
- Strong command of NY real estate law, title, and settlement processes
- Proven ability to assess risk and deliver practical, business-oriented solutions
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills
- A proactive, collaborative approach with sound judgment and attention to detail

Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $200,000 $275,000
- Bonus: 1012% annual incentive
