Job description

Coverage Needed

  • Start Date: As soon as credentialed
  • Schedule: 5 days per week, 10-hour shifts
  • Call: Negotiable based on experience; if approved, 12 or 24-hour shifts with post-call day off

Clinical Details

  • Rotate to all sites, including OB
  • Provide anesthesia for all types of cases except for hearts and babies
  • Case ratio: 3:1 and sometimes 4:1
  • Inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Required Procedures: General, MAC, regional, and post-op serve blocks (extremities and TAP blocks)
  • Support Staff: CRNAs provided for all cases, medically directed
  • Volume: Very busy, 70-80,000 cases per year

Requirements

  • Must be available at least 2 weeks per month and able to provide summer coverage
  • Available to work the the whole month of August, September, and October
  • Active PA license required
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible
