The Outside Salesman plays a critical role in driving revenue growth by targeting and acquiring new clients across diverse regional territories. Responsible for managing relationships with a broad range of customers-from small businesses to large corporations-this role requires a strategic approach to sales negotiation, market analysis, and quota achievement. Reporting to the Regional Director, the position involves moderate travel within the state and balancing both individual and team sales quotas.
Responsibilities
- Generate leads and acquire new clients across regional, statewide, or multi-state territories
- Manage and nurture relationships with small businesses, medium enterprises, large corporations, and individual consumers
- Negotiate sales agreements to meet or exceed quota targets
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities
- Prepare and deliver timely sales reports to the Regional Director
- Achieve sales quotas individually and collaboratively within teams
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in sales
- Proficient in sales techniques and customer relationship management (CRM)
- Strong negotiation, communication, and time management skills
- In-depth product knowledge and territory management expertise
- Effective problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
