Locums - A well respected medical center is seeking a Critical Care Nurse Practitioner to assist with ongoing ICU coverage in southeastern Virginia.
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- Start ASAP for ongoing need
- Current day shifts include Aug 20-24, Sept 3-6, 9-10, 12-13, 18, 22-24, 26, 29-30, Oct 6-9, 17-18, 21-23, 27-31, Nov 1-5, 14-15, 18-24, 27,30
- Current night shifts include Aug 13-17, Oct 9-11, Nov 23-25
- Day shifts 7a-8p and night shifts 8p-7a available
- Must be able to cover one block of shifts per month minimum
- Must have Critical Care/ICU experience
- Approx. 1-20 ppd; average of 13 ppd
- Adult patient population
- Must be comfortable working autonomously
- Duties include admissions, vent management, ICU management
- Required procedures include central venous lines, arterial lines, dialysis catheter placement
- EMR EPIC
- Active VA license, DEA, BLS, ACLS, clean background, recent case logs
