Coverage Type: Scheduled + Required Call
Setting: Ambulatory clinic with procedures, OR access, and inpatient rounding
Patient Volume: patients per day
OR Access / Procedures: General urology procedures, OR access included
Robotics / Special Equipment: Limited / Not available on urology days
Schedule & Coverage:
- Standard Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM (2 weeks per month)
- Call Schedule: Daytime coverage, no nights
Responsibilities:
- Outpatient clinic visits and patient consultations
- General urology procedures
- OR participation as needed
- Inpatient consults and rounding
Support Staff:
- 3 Medical Assistants
- 1 LPN
- Surgical scheduler
- 3 Front Office Staff
- Practice Manager
- 9 Exam Rooms, 3 Procedure Rooms
Requirements:
- Board Certification: Urology (BC/BE)
- License: Active Pennsylvania license required
- DEA: Required (PA)
- Certifications: BLS required
- EMR Experience: EPIC
- Experience Required: Minimum 5 years
- Work History: Must be up to date with no gaps >30 days
- Malpractice: Full disclosure required (including dismissed cases with physician statement)
Credentialing / Onboarding:
- Credentialing timeframe: Less than 90 days (PA licensed providers)
- NPDB self-query required within last 6 months
- Provider questionnaire required at time of submission
- Temporary privileges available only for urgent needs
