We are looking for a Diesel & Heavy Equipment Mechanicto join our team in Auburn, NH! You will be responsible for repairing and maintaining various tractor trailer trucks, heavy equipment (including excavators and bobcats), as well as light duty vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Repair broken equipment and vehicles
- Perform routine maintenance
- Trouble shoot mechanical equipment and systems including motors, hydraulic, pneumatics and electrical components.
- Perform field service and repairs on various equipment
- Other duties as needed
- Must be able to work 40-50 hours per week (and occasional Saturdays as needed)
Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience as a mechanic
- Knowledge of shop equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Must have own hand tools
- Must have good driving record
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50-100 lbs 35 - 45% of day
- Stooping and bending 35-45% of day
