Locums - Longview, Washington GI Hospitalist Job
Clinical RoleJoin an established Gastroenterology hospitalist team providing inpatient and ACU-based GI coverage in a 136-bed hospital setting. This role includes both scheduled daytime coverage and intermittent 24-hour call responsibilities in a collaborative, multi-provider environment.

Schedule & CoverageACU Coverage: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (9-hour shifts)
Call Coverage (as scheduled):
- 24-hour call: 8:00 AM - 8:00 AM
- Weekday night call
- Weekend 24-hour call
- Call includes consults, rounding, ACU procedures, and add-on cases
Schedule is variable and built around internal coverage gaps and PTO needs

Responsibilities include:
- Inpatient GI consultations
- Daily rounding and admissions
- Standard endoscopy procedures (no ERCP required)
- ACU coverage and consult management
- Participation in call coverage when scheduled
- Coordination with hospitalists and APPs

RequirementsBoard Certified Gastroenterology - RequiredActive Washington State license - Required (No IMLC accepted)BLS and ACLS - Required (AHA or Red Cross)Comfortable with inpatient GI consults and endoscopy procedures
