Job description

  • ASAP - Ongoing
  • Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call - Beeper Call
  • Hours: 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday
  • Call: Weekend: 24-hour call, Weekday: some night call shared among providers
  • Specialty/Unit: Oncology (Unit 634); Request Type: Locum Tenens
  • Patient load: 17 patients/shift; 60 minutes for new patients; 20 minutes for follow-ups
  • Support: 1 Medical Assistant, several RNs; dedicated pharmacists provide chemo education
  • Facility: 18-bed chemo suite; COC-accredited cancer center; co-located with Radiation Oncology
  • EMR System: Mosiaq
  • Call Response Time Required: 20 Min, Call Ratio: 1/2
  • Avg Call # Per 24 Hour: Phone Consults: 2, Patients Seen: 1, Admissions: 1
  • Certifications: BC or BE, BLS
  • Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60 days
