Starling Physicians is seeking Physician Assistant to support the physicians of our Orthopedic practice.
Description:
- Monday through Friday.
- Provide orthopedic care in both clinical and surgical settings
- First and/or Second Assist in the Operating Room.
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, physical exams, diagnostic assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provides pre-and post-operative care and patient education to patients.
- Enters, reviews and updates orders.
- Perform joint injections, aspirations, and other in-office orthopedic procedures.
- Educate patients and families about orthopedic conditions, recovery, and treatment options.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests (X-rays, MRIs, labs) to support accurate diagnoses.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Board Certified Physician Assistant (NCCPA)
- Active CT PA license
- CT Controlled Substance Registration and Federal Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Certification
