Job description
The Dosmatic Injector - Inside Sales & Support role is a year-round, customer-facing position responsible for supporting the sale, service, and use of Dosmatic water-powered fertilizer injectors and related products. This role provides inside sales support, technical assistance, and order coordination while serving as a key communication link between customers, Sales, Warehouse, and the Dosmatic repair team.
The ideal candidate combines strong customer service skills with technical curiosity and the ability to clearly explain mechanical concepts in a customer-friendly manner.
Compensation Data:Non-exempt hourly pay, based on experience. Overtime & Commission eligible.
Location: Beloit, WI; 100% Onsite
Schedule: M-F, 8am-5pm
Key Responsibilities:
Inside Sales & Customer Support
- Provide inside sales support for Dosmatic injectors, parts, and accessories.
- Assist customers with product selection, compatibility questions, and application guidance.
- Respond to customer inquiries related to pricing, availability, lead times, and order status.
- Prepare quotes, process orders, and support outside Sales Representatives as needed.
- Build positive, professional relationships with customers through responsive communication.
Technical & Service Coordination
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Dosmatic service and repair inquiries.
- Communicate repair intake requirements, service status, and outcomes to customers and Sales.
- Translate technical repair findings into clear, non-technical explanations.
- Coordinate with the Dosmatic Injector Technician to route products for repair or replacement.
Order Processing & Documentation
- Accurately enter and manage sales and service orders.
- Verify product and parts availability and coordinate fulfillment with Warehouse staff.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service requests, and repair history.
- Ensure documentation related to repairs, returns, and service orders is complete and accurate.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Warehouse, Technical, and Sales teams to ensure a smooth customer experience.
- Support process improvements related to Dosmatic sales, service workflows, and customer support.
- Escalate customer concerns appropriately and assist in resolution.
Training:
- Structured onboarding covering Dosmatic products, internal systems, and customer support processes.
- Exposure to Dosmatic injector repair fundamentals to support effective customer communication.
- Ongoing training as products, processes, and customer needs evolve.
What you will need to succeed:
Education & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
Competencies:
Required:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer service or inside sales experience.
- Ability to learn and explain technical products and mechanical concepts.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable using computers for order entry, inventory systems, and documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.
Preferred:
- Experience with irrigation systems, plumbing, pumps, injectors, or water-flow equipment.
- Background in agriculture, greenhouse, horticulture, or fertigation products.
- Experience in a distributor, warehouse, or technical sales support environment.
Physical Requirements
- Office and warehouse environment with periodic exposure to service and warehouse areas.
- Ability to lift 30 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods.
