Job description

Our client, a leader in manufacturing and power generation support, is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician II, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the production and maintenance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:Allentown, PA

Pay Range: $36.29 h

What's the Job?

  • Perform predictive, preventative, corrective, and routine maintenance on production equipment.
  • Repair, maintain, and troubleshoot CNC machines to ensure optimal operation.
  • Repair, assemble, and install electrical, electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Calibrate process control equipment and instrumentation for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Rebuild, install, and make field repairs on centrifugal and diaphragm pumps.

What's Needed?

  • Associate degree or Trade School certification in a technical field with at least 3 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to work off shift-specifically 3rd shift from 10 pm to 6 am or 2nd shift from 2 pm to 10 pm.
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required to meet operational needs.
  • Capability to qualify for and utilize specialized personal protective equipment, including arc flash and fall protection gear.
  • Commitment to following all safety protocols and wearing appropriate PPE such as steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
