What You ll Do- Provide physical therapy services in a setting that includes both inpatient (swing bed) and outpatient caseloads
- Deliver patient education and support care plans to improve functional outcomes
- Provide supervision and support to the PTA staff
- Work independently within a smaller team environment while collaborating with the rehab team
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation using the facility EMR/documentation system
- Manage time effectively while balancing mixed inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
- Begin orientation/training prior to the permanent PT s departure (selected candidate starts 2 weeks earlier)
What You NeedRequired - Active Arkansas Physical Therapist (PT) License
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Minimum 2+ years of PT experience
- NPI number (must have NPI)
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Ability to work independently in a smaller team environment
- Familiarity with EMR/documentation systems
- Strong time management and adaptability in mixed settings
Preferred - Prior experience in rural/critical access hospital settings
- Comfort with floating between inpatient and outpatient caseloads
- Truebridge/CPSI EMR experience (strongly preferred)
About the AssignmentThis 7-week travel assignment supports a leave of absence at a leading facility in Hope, Arkansas. The PT will care for patients across both inpatient (swing bed) and outpatient services, while also providing supervision and support to the PTA staff. A start date of
08/17/2026 is firm, and the selected candidate will begin approximately two weeks prior to allow for orientation and training.
