Active PA license required to be considered for this assignmentFull-time availability required, working 3-4 weeks per monthSchedule options of five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts per week, Monday through FridayOvertime applied after 40 hours worked per weekSupervised position working alongside an anesthesiologistWill cover all surgeries across 24+ operating rooms in a high-volume environmentNo open heart cases; mitral clips and watchman procedures are performedHead, spine, and healthy pediatric cases are includedNo obstetrical casesNo call nights or weekendsTreats patients of all ages; both inpatient and outpatientSupport staff includes Anesthesia Techs and Surgical Care Assistants (SCAs)Surgical specialties include complete orthopedics, complex vascular, head and spine, neuro, pediatrics, regional, and thoracicPreferred skills include general anesthesia, spinal anesthesia, epidural anesthesia, regional anesthesia, neurosurgical cases, thoracic cases, complex vascular, complex orthopedic, pain management techniques, central and arterial line placement, and ventilation managementBoard certification requiredNo stipends and lunches are not coveredFacility:
This facility is a large, high-volume hospital operating more than 24 operating rooms and serving as a Level 1 trauma center. It provides a wide range of surgical services including orthopedic, vascular, neurological, thoracic, and pediatric procedures. The facility supports its anesthesia team with dedicated anesthesia technicians and surgical care assistants, and maintains a collaborative environment between CRNAs and anesthesiologists.
