Emergency Medicine (Nocturnist) - Southeastern Alabama Hospital employed practice seeks a BC/BE Emergency Medicine physician to join their team Salary: $210/hour with a guaranteed base salary of $350,000 plus mid and night shift differentials The area's only Level II Trauma Center - high acuity with over 60,000 annual visits (150-200/day) Equitable schedule with 7 day block off monthly. Average of 14 shifts per month (9 and 10-hour shifts) Comprehensive Stroke Center Dedicated Nocturnist position - 5 pm to 3 am Clinical Decision Unit, managed by Hospitalists, holds ED patients up to 24 hours for observation before admitting or discharging All physicians in the group are Emergency Medicine trained and are supported by Mid-level providers. ED operates in a zone model with Physician, APP, and RN practicing together in each zone Internal Medicine residency program in-house.
