We're looking for a skilled MIG Welder to join a leading manufacturer of premium, custom-engineered equipment. If you take pride in precision, enjoy hands-on work, and want to be part of a team building innovative products, this is your opportunity.

? What You'll Do
  • Start your day with a 6:30 AM safety meeting to keep everyone protected and prepared
  • Participate in daily team planning sessions to align on production goals
  • Work in small, collaborative teams (2-3 people) on projects of varying size
  • Read blueprints and work instructions to lay out and prepare materials
  • Perform MIG welding on carbon steel, fabricating and assembling components
  • Ensure precision fit and high-quality welds that meet industry standards
?️ What You Bring

Required:

  • 6+ months of MIG welding experience (schooling or on-the-job)
  • Ability to read blueprints and use a tape measure accurately
  • Experience working with carbon steel

Preferred:

  • Flux-core welding experience
  • Ability to pass a bend test and run a bevel
  • TIG welding experience
  • Experience with stainless steel welding
? Work Environment & Schedule
  • Open-air, climate-regulated welding facility (can get warm in summer)
  • Consistent schedule with overtime opportunity

Hours:

  • Monday-Thursday: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Friday: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
  • Occasional Saturdays

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gatesville, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.29 - $26.37/hr.
