Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Customer Service & Operations Coordinator to support daily retail and administrative operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with customers while also managing behind-the-scenes processes that keep the business running smoothly.
You will serve as a key point of contact for customers-both in person and over the phone-while also handling administrative, inventory, and purchasing responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Front Desk
- Greet and assist walk-in customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately
- Respond to customer emails in a timely and accurate manner
- Resolve customer questions, concerns, and order-related issues
Administrative Support
- Maintain accurate records in electronic systems
- Scan, file, and organize documents
- Perform data entry and general office tasks
- Assist with routine reporting and operational documentation
Inventory & Purchasing
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels
- Conduct physical inventory counts as needed
- Place vendor purchase orders and track deliveries
- Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy
- Review vendor invoices and adjust purchase order pricing as needed
- Investigate and resolve pricing or quantity discrepancies
General Operations
- Order office and operational supplies
- Support warehouse coordination as needed
- Assist with process improvements and operational efficiency
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required:
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic proficiency with computer systems and office software
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Preferred:
- Prior customer service or retail experience
- Warehouse or inventory management experience
- Experience with purchasing or vendor coordination
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree (not required, but a plus)
Work Environment
- Fully on-site position requiring regular interaction with customers and staff
- Combination of desk work and light physical activity (e.g., handling inventory, receiving shipments)
