The Home Improvement Sales Representative is responsible for engaging residential clients to understand their home improvement needs and provide tailored solutions. This role involves delivering compelling sales presentations, preparing accurate quotations, and maintaining strong customer relationships. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the representative works both independently and as part of a collaborative sales team, frequently traveling within the local area to meet with clients and close sales using CRM tools to streamline communication and workflow.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct sales presentations to residential clients
  • Consult with customers to assess needs and recommend solutions
  • Prepare and deliver accurate quotations including writing sales contracts
  • Maintain follow-up communication to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients
  • Utilize CRM software to manage customer information and sales processes
  • Travel frequently within the local area to meet with clients
  • Work independently while collaborating with the sales team

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Business or related field
  • Proficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
  • Strong sales techniques and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Effective time management and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in sales
  • Working Knowledge of CAD programs used in Kitchen and Bath Design
