JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Board: Board Certified OBGYN - Highly Preferred; Board Eligible accepted if on staff at another Joint Commission hospital without monitoring
  • Licenses: Active CA License Required
  • Certifications: BLS, DEA, NRP/PALS Highly Preferred
  • Other Qualifications: Residency in IM/FP, OB GYN Required; Clean malpractice/background Highly Preferred; Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation Required; Local provider Highly Preferred
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide 24-hour call coverage for OB and Gyn ED
  • Manage full scope OB GYN cases including deliveries and gynecological surgeries
  • Respond to call within 20 minutes; no requirement to remain in-house
  • No clinic or office patients
