The Automotive Mechanic is responsible for maintaining and repairing passenger cars and light trucks. Working primarily on the day shift, this role involves using a variety of standard and advanced diagnostic tools to accurately assess and resolve vehicle issues. As either an individual technician or part of a small team, the mechanic ensures optimal vehicle performance through expert maintenance and repair services.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose issues using advanced electronic diagnostic tools and manufacturer-specific equipment
- Perform repairs and maintenance on passenger cars and light trucks
- Replace parts and conduct engine overhauls as needed
- Service brake systems and electrical systems to manufacturer standards
- Utilize hydraulic lifts and hand tools safely and effectively
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in automotive repair
