Job description:
As a Commercial Service Electrician, you play a critical role in delivering high-quality electrical service to our clients while supporting the JRAC team. This position is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair (time & material service), and installations across commercial projects. The goal of this role is to ensure reliable, safe, and efficient electrical systems while providing exceptional service and support to both our clients and internal team.
Duties include but are not limited to
Physically capable & able to follow directions
- Safe use, care, and maintenance of tools & equipment
Working to or currently obtain cfc certification
Electrical code
Proficiency at preparing quotes
Operate and maintain switchgear
Planning & running conduit
Pulling wire in different settings
Installation of boxed & panels
Checking wiring for code compliance
Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting including minor repairs and lighting
Installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of ac & dc drives
Installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of controls & indicators
Connecting and testing service and distribution
Use of meters and diagnostic equipment
Wiring, devices, fixtures, and panel boards
Temperature and automatic controls
Specialized systems
High voltage - 480
Control voltage
Conductors
Other job duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Driven to achieve long and short-term goals within specific deadlines.
- Dependable with a strong desire to learn
- Minimum 3-5 years field experience
- Clean driving record
- CFC certification preferred
- Trade school
- Electrical card
- Journeyman's card preferred
- Master's card preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Able to work irregular and extended hours
- All successful candidates must be able to pass the required background check and drug-screen.
