Purpose of Facilities Manager: Oversee the maintenance, security, and daily operations of church buildings and grounds to provide a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee care of the building & property, ensuring grounds are clean, well maintained, and secure
  • Routinely walk the facility and grounds to ensure facilities are in a safe, well maintained, and clean condition
  • Coordinate snow removal during winter months
Oversee set up of rooms, and schedule volunteers for times when unable to do so personally Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure that equipment is maintained and functional:
  • Research and obtain bids
  • Negotiate contracts in accordance with OSLC's governing documents
  • Schedule meetings with vendors
  • Ensure projects are completed in a timely manner
  • Follow up on issues, contract renewals, etc.
Direct janitorial/cleaning of the building

Ensure compliance with all fire codes and licensure requirements through scheduling of assessments and maintaining records on equipment and repairs Receive calls as the first point of contact for off-hour emergencies Implement a system to document and resolve all maintenance & property concerns from staff, members, and vendors Qualifications: 3-5 years of facility maintenance experience preferred Bachelor's degree preferred, or comparable experience Knowledge of facility maintenance, equipment, and procedures Familiarity with business procedures including researching and obtaining bids Possess good judgment and strong interpersonal & communication skills Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to climb stairs and ladders Adherence to OSHA standards regarding cleaning & maintenance Proficiency or Familiarity With: Microsoft Word Google products Emergency First Aid/CPR certified or ability to be certified Working Relationships: Reports to Lead Pastor Liaison to Property Team, Landscape Team, Emergency Response Team, and regular property volunteers Compensation & Benefits
  • $25-$30 per hour depending on experience
