      • Duties: Primarily surgical assistance for orthopedics, including closing and post-operative patient rounding as needed
      • Required Procedures: Comprehensive orthopedic procedures such as ORIFs, total joint replacements (knees, hips, and shoulders)
      • Types of Cases: ORIFs, open and robotic-assisted total joints (knee, hip, shoulder), arthroscopies (knee, shoulder, ankle), IM nailing, DHS, external fixation, amputation
      • EMR: Cerner and PACS (eMedPortal)
      • Patients per Day: Approximately 5 orthopedic surgeries per day
      • Support Staff: To be confirmed by the site
      • Reason for Coverage: Surgical support to bolster the orthopedics service lineAdditional Facility Details:
        • The facility does not handle trauma cases as it is not a designated trauma center. However, surgical assistance may be required for add-on cases from the emergency department.
        • Daily coverage in the operating room is expected, with an average of 3-4 cases per day. No clinic responsibilities, and rounding on patients in the nursing unit is not required.FAQs Addressed by Facility:
