Responsibilities: - Analyze project specifications and prepare accurate estimates for doors and windows.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure design intent is met.
- Review and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Maintain and update pricing databases for materials and labor.
- Communicate with suppliers to gather quotes and availability of materials.
- Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and contract documents.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the estimating process.
- Monitor project timelines and budgets to ensure on-time delivery.
Requirements: - Proven experience as an estimator in the millwork or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of door and window products and installation processes.
- Proficiency in estimating software, the Excel, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications or licenses in construction estimating are a plus.
