The Fast Food Restaurant General Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficient team management, and delivering exceptional customer service within a fast-paced environment. This role leads a team of 10-30 employees and reports directly to the Regional Manager. The General Manager plays a key role in maintaining operational standards, managing budgets, and facilitating staff development to drive business growth and customer satisfaction. Occasional travel to other locations is expected, with opportunities for promotion to Area Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead a team of 10-30 employees to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Control inventory and maintain accurate stock levels
  • Deliver excellent customer service and resolve any issues promptly
  • Create and manage employee schedules to optimize staffing
  • Conduct training and development programs for staff
  • Oversee budget management and monitor financial performance
  • Enhance operational efficiency and uphold food safety standards

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in restaurant management
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong team leadership skills
  • Experience with inventory management and budgeting
  • Excellent customer service and conflict resolution abilities
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations
  • Financial reporting experience
