The Restaurant Manager's duties include the daily operation of restaurants located in our 24-hour Travel Center. The Restaurant Manager is responsible for planning and directing the daily operations in accordance with all company policies and guidelines. This position will work 44 hours per week plus more if needed. This position will be paid a salary based on a 44-hour work week.
Job Duties:
Answer questions (employee or customer)
Check employee schedule daily for accuracy
Check-in trucks/orders
Complete employee hour sheet for payroll
Cover shifts when someone calls in
Handle any complaints (to the best of their ability)
Keep pie box stocked
Keep walk-in & freezer clean, organized, and ready for deliveries
Monitor grill and dining area for cleanliness
Monitor and control employee overtime
Place restaurant supply and food inventory order
Schedule restaurant employees
Train new hires
Work 44 hours per week plus more if needed
Other duties as required
Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement
