Johnsrud Transport, Inc. is a recognized leader in the transport of bulk liquids for the food industry. We are currently looking for a reliable mechanic with experience to work at a great trucking company.
The ideal mechanic must be able to pass a physical and drug test and own hand tools to perform job function.
Pay is based on experience and work history. Emphasis on teamwork and professionalism.
Responsibilities of Diesel Mechanic:
- Must have own tools
- Perform minor and major repairs on trucks, trailers and class 8 equipment
- Conduct regular preventative maintenance on service trucks, including inspection and oil changes.
- Maintain parts inventory and cleanliness in the shop
- Collaborate with repair team to diagnose problems with vehicles and plan repairs
- Perform regular diagnostic tests on trucks
- Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles
