Commercial Construction Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee ground-up and renovation commercial projects from start to finish. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing field operations, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, enforcing safety standards, and ensuring quality workmanship.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily on-site construction activities.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
- Maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are met.
- Enforce OSHA and company safety requirements.
- Conduct site meetings and prepare progress reports.
- Coordinate inspections and ensure code compliance.
- Monitor quality control and project documentation.
- Work closely with project managers, owners, architects, and engineers.
- Resolve field issues and maintain project momentum.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of commercial construction superintendent experience.
- Experience with ground-up and renovation commercial projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contracts.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
