Clinical Responsibilities
Provide anesthesia care for a variety of surgical specialties, including:
- General Surgery
- Orthopedics
- Spine
- Gynecology
- Ophthalmology
- Plastic Surgery
- Gastroenterology
- Cardiovascular procedures
- MRI coverage as needed
Procedures
- General anesthesia
- Ventilation management
- Arterial line placement
- TEE/CV experience preferred
Patient Population
- Ages 12+
- Primarily adult patients
Coverage Model
- Medical-directed ACT model
- 4:1 CRNA-to-physician supervision ratio
- Collaborative anesthesia team
Requirements
- NBCRNA Certified
- Active South Carolina license
- Minimum 2 years of CRNA experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA)
- DEA required
- Epic experience preferred
- Clean background required
Credentialing
- Approximately 60 days with an active South Carolina license
- Longer timeframe without an active license
