Coverage: Scheduled Clinical Hours plus Call
Weekday and weekend coverage is needed, but all shift availability will be considered.
Schedule: - Flexible availability accepted.
- Weekend Call:
- Friday: 5:00 PM 7:00 AM Saturday (start may be delayed to 8:00 PM if commuting)
- Saturday: 6:00 PM 7:00 AM Sunday
- Sunday: 6:00 PM 7:00 AM Monday
Clinical Responsibilities: - Manage Cardiac ICU admissions.
- Comfortable treating:
- STEMI
- Unstable Ventricular Tachycardia (VT)
- Ventricular Fibrillation (VF)
- Cardiogenic shock
- Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology (EP), and Heart Failure teams provide on-call backup.
Support & EMR: - Advanced Practice Provider (APP) available during every shift.
- EMR: Cerner
Required Credentials: - Active North Carolina (NC) Medical License Required
- Active NC DEA Required
- Board Certified (BC) - Required
- Must be able to read ECGs and Echocardiograms (ECHO).
