Locum Tenens Opportunity Orthopedic Hand Surgery (Call Coverage) Facility Type

  • Christmas coverage period (approximately December )
Schedule / Shift Details
  • 24-hour in-house call coverage
  • Shift hours: 7:00 AM 7:00 AM
  • Out-of-house call model
  • Includes call + clinic responsibilities
Clinical Scope / Case Mix
  • Acute bread and butter hand trauma
  • Orthopedic hand injuries requiring surgical management
  • Trauma-related hand cases
Required Skills / Experience
  • Orthopedic Hand Surgery Fellowship required
  • Must be comfortable managing acute hand trauma cases independently
  • Experience with inpatient consults and operative hand coverage
Licensure Requirements
  • South Dakota Medical License required
  • DEA required
  • Controlled Substance Registration required
Board Certification
  • Board Certified required
Credentialing Notes
  • Clean file candidates only
  • No malpractice history (must pass strict credentialing review)
  • Temp/emergency privileges available for qualified providers
