Job description

  • As soon as credentialed ongoing
  • 2 weekends a month
  • Coverage needed 7a to 7a Friday to Monday
  • Weekday coverage may be needed July thru August
  • Board certified plastic and reconstructive surgeons to provide locums call coverage for plastics, hand, and face surgery
  • Actively involved in the practice of reconstructive plastic surgery, specifically relating to trauma of the upper and lower extremities, hand surgery and craniofacial trauma as well as experience in general plastic surgery
  • Inpatient Only
  • Strong OR and specialist support (trauma, neurosurgery, general surgery, etc)
  • No ICU Duties
  • Will not respond to codes
  • EPIC EHR
  • Procedures Required:
    • Complex facial trauma reconstruction, both soft tissue and skeletal (full face upper, mid face and mandible, coverage of cranial defects), both adult and pediatric
    • Complex upper extremity trauma reconstruction including soft tissue (tendon, peripheral nerve, and vascular below the elbow, and burns) and skeletal, both adult and pediatric.
    • Complex lower extremity soft tissue reconstruction, adult and pediatric.
    • General plastic and reconstructive surgery, breast, and body
    • Complex upper extremity trauma reconstruction and skeletal (distal radius, wrist and hand), both adult and pediatric
