Our client in Massachusetts is seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician for a 36-day assignment beginning Sep 1, 2026. This role involves providing critical patient care during night shifts, typically 12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a standard three-shift work pattern. The Physician will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients presenting with a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries, ensuring high-quality, timely medical interventions within an emergency department setting. Responsibilities and Duties Provide comprehensive medical care to patients in the emergency department. Evaluate and manage emergent and urgent medical conditions, performing necessary diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Stabilize critically ill or injured patients and facilitate appropriate transfers. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory and imaging studies. Collaborate effectively with nursing staff and other medical professionals to ensure coordinated patient care. Additional Information Board Certification in Emergency Medicine is required. Experience with Epic EMR system is preferred.
