Trauma Surgery NP opening in Loveland, COFort Collins 15m, Denver 49mFull-time, PermanentWe are seeking an experienced Trauma and Acute Care Surgery Nurse Practitioner to join the team as a Nocturnist. Provide advanced overnight surgical care in a high-acuity Level II Trauma Center, working alongside a collaborative, multidisciplinary team dedicated to exceptional patient outcomes. Provide comprehensive overnight coverage for Trauma and Acute Care Surgery (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) Perform patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans Manage trauma and emergency general surgery patients in inpatient settings Support trauma surgeons with procedures and ongoing patient management Work autonomously while collaborating with physicians and care teams Document all patient care in EMR systems Ensure compliance with medical staff bylaws, credentialing, and privileging requirements Maintain high standards of patient safety and clinical performance Participate in mentorship, leadership development, and continuing education programsQualifications (Required) Trauma Surgery Experience Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with a Master's degree in Nursing Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (ANCC or AANPCB) Active Colorado license (or ability to obtain) Eligible for DEA registration and Medicare/Medicaid provider status Current BLS certification No sanctions or exclusions from HHS/OIG or GSA Current NPDB Self-Query report (within 30 days at time of submission) Preferred Qualifications OR completion of a surgical fellowship Clean malpractice and licensure historyCompensation & Benefits Salary Range: $136,822 - $179,379 annually (based on experience) Up to $10,000 annual quality incentive bonus Relocation bonus up to $10,000 (for eligible candidates) Fully paid malpractice insurance CME allowance up to $3,500 annually plus 5 CME days Retirement plans including 403(b) with employer match and optional 457(b) Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Employer-paid short-term and long-term disability coverage Paid time off starting at hire Paid family and medical leave Education assistance (select programs fully covered; additional annual support available) Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligibility with support resources Additional voluntary benefits including FSA, HSA, pet insurance, and more
