DocStar is looking for an Advanced Practice Provider (FNP or PA) with strong orthopedic and spine experience.
Start Date: 05/04/2026
Length of Assignment: 3 months (high likelihood of extension)
Schedule: Monday Thursday (4-day workweek), occasional Friday coverage as needed. No call, weekends, or holidays. 8 9 hour shifts
Credentialing: Facility may support proxy credentialing depending on qualifications
Setting: Rural Health Facility
Procedures: Procedures are primarily minimally invasive spine, with some scoliosis cases.
EMR: TBD (must be proficient in EMR documentation and coding)
License Needed: Minnesota license is preferred, but candidates eligible for MN licensures will be considered .
Certifications Needed: BLS and ACLS certification
Preferred Experience: 1+ years of experience in spine surgery, or inpatient hospital medicine. Familiarity with orthopedic devices, injections, and minor procedures

Located in Minnesota with access to Minneapolis and its major airport, dining, and entertainment offering a blend of small-community practice andcity amenities. Provider will split time between Spine OR (1 2 days/week) and clinic (musculoskeletal & spine cases). Working alongside 2 neurosurgeons and an incoming orthopedic spine surgeon. Strong support team including Spine Navigator RN and OR surgical techs. Housing options available (preferred local hotels).
