Job Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide high-quality mental health care in a progressive behavioral health setting. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive psychiatric services, including evaluations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management for adult patients (18+).
The position offers an opportunity to work within an innovative care model that integrates ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) with holistic mental health interventions, alongside a collaborative, multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments
Diagnose and treat a wide range of psychiatric and behavioral health conditions
Develop individualized, patient-centered treatment plans
Provide medication management and monitor treatment effectiveness
Administer and oversee intravenous psychiatric medications and infusion therapies
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and care plans
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR/EHR systems
Ensure continuity of care through follow-ups and coordinated treatment
Qualifications: Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing with a psychiatric/mental health specialization
Active and unrestricted PMHNP certification
Current Texas state licensure or eligibility
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Required: Spravato or IV ketamine experience in Mental Health is Mandatory
Experience in behavioral health, psychiatric care, or infusion therapies preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment
Passion for delivering high-quality mental health care
