Locums APP Emergency Medicine
Winona, MN
We are seeking 2 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to join our Emergency Department on a locums basis.
Position Details:
- Specialty: Emergency Medicine (APP)
- Type: Locums
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 6 months
- Schedule: 10:30 AM 10:30 PM
- Need 6 shifts per week, (3 each provider)
- On Call: Every 3rd weekend
Requirements:
- NP or PA
- Minnesota license required (or willing to apply)
- Prior ER experience as an APP
- Must be able to work independently/autonomously
Compensation & Support:
- Pay discussed by phone
- Travel/Lodging: Onsite housing provided
- Drive-in candidates preferred
Facility Information:
- Annual patient volume: 14,000
- Level IV Trauma Center
- EMR: Oracle Cerner
- Physician coverage: 26 hours daily (with 2 hours overlap)
- CRNA, Surgeon, and OB on call
Reason for Coverage:
Retirement and maternity leave coverage until permanent hires start.
