Job Title: Nurse Practitioner (Pediatric Inpatient- Nights)
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Night Shift (3x12s; alternating weeks include an additional 8-hour shift)
Compensation: TBD + $5,000 Night Differential + Sign-On Bonus

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join a well-established pediatric specialty hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. This is an inpatient role providing comprehensive care to neonates, infants, and children up to 21 years of age in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive physical exams and obtain detailed patient histories

  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and lab results

  • Develop and implement treatment plans and preliminary diagnoses

  • Prescribe medications in accordance with Pennsylvania state regulations

  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care

  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care

  • Provide emotional support and clear communication to families

  • Participate in clinical education, research, and administrative duties

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Pediatric or Family Nurse Practitioner program

  • Active Pennsylvania NP and RN licensure (or ability to obtain)

  • 2+ years of experience preferred (new graduates welcome to apply)

  • Acute Care NP certification (ACNP) preferred

  • Ability to obtain prescriptive authority within 90 days of hire
