Job Title: Nurse Practitioner (Pediatric Inpatient- Nights)

Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Night Shift (3x12s; alternating weeks include an additional 8-hour shift)
Compensation: TBD + $5,000 Night Differential + Sign-On Bonus
About the Role We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join a well-established pediatric specialty hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. This is an inpatient role providing comprehensive care to neonates, infants, and children up to 21 years of age in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive physical exams and obtain detailed patient histories
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and lab results
Develop and implement treatment plans and preliminary diagnoses
Prescribe medications in accordance with Pennsylvania state regulations
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
Provide emotional support and clear communication to families
Participate in clinical education, research, and administrative duties
Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Pediatric or Family Nurse Practitioner program
Active Pennsylvania NP and RN licensure (or ability to obtain)
2+ years of experience preferred (new graduates welcome to apply)
Acute Care NP certification (ACNP) preferred
Ability to obtain prescriptive authority within 90 days of hire
