Job description

  • Start: As soon as credentialed
  • Assignment length: 3 months
  • Shifts: Full-time, 3 shifts/week
  • Hours: 7:00 pm - 7:00 am, nights and weekends
  • Call: 3 shifts/week
  • Scope: OB and GYN coverage; L&D/Maternity floor, triage, postpartum
  • Procedures: Surgical first assist for C-sections and emergent GYN OR cases
  • Responsibilities: Manage inpatient and ED GYN consults; post-op GYN rounding and management; support OB/L&D and postpartum
  • Volume: 1,200 deliveries/year; patient volume variable
  • Team: 24/7 PA and CNM coverage; 24/7 OB MD coverage
  • EMR: Epic
  • Requirements: MA license
  • Credentialing timeframe: 30-60 days (expedited available)
