Responsibilities

Perform routine and complex laboratory testing on patient specimens

Analyze, verify, and report laboratory results accurately and efficiently

Operate and maintain laboratory analyzers and equipment

Follow established quality control and quality assurance procedures

Troubleshoot instrumentation and resolve testing issues as needed

Maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and laboratory staff to support patient care

Ensure accurate documentation and record keeping
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, Biology, or a related science field

Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist license required or eligible

Previous hospital laboratory experience preferred
