  • Position: Locum Tenens Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
  • Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316
  • Specialty: General Anesthesia / Acute Care
  • Healthcare Setting: High-acuity anesthesia and surgical services
  • Start Date: July 13, 2026
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
  • Shift Duration: 8 hours
  • Shifts Per Week: 5 shifts per week
  • Call: Required, including weekend coverage
  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $7,390 to $7,790
Job Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of CRNA experience required
  • Board Certified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
  • Active Florida CRNA license required
  • Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association
  • Pediatric experience and willingness to provide pediatric anesthesia care
  • Comfortable taking call and working weekends
  • Ability to work a minimum of 2 weeks per month
  • Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and a clean credentialing file
Responsibilities
  • Provide safe, effective anesthesia care across a broad mix of surgical specialties
  • Manage cases in general surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN, ENT, plastics, cardiothoracic, neuro, GI, vascular, thoracic, oncology, dental, and more
  • Support trauma, pediatric, OB, and cardiothoracic procedures as part of a collaborative anesthesia team
  • Deliver care in both supervised and independent case settings
  • Participate in call rotation and weekend coverage as needed
  • Work flexibly to support changing coverage needs across the anesthesia department
  • Maintain a patient-centered approach while contributing to efficient case flow, teamwork, and clinical quality
