Job Details
- Position: Locum Tenens Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316
- Specialty: General Anesthesia / Acute Care
- Healthcare Setting: High-acuity anesthesia and surgical services
- Start Date: July 13, 2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Shift Duration: 8 hours
- Shifts Per Week: 5 shifts per week
- Call: Required, including weekend coverage
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $7,390 to $7,790
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CRNA experience required
- Board Certified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Active Florida CRNA license required
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association
- Pediatric experience and willingness to provide pediatric anesthesia care
- Comfortable taking call and working weekends
- Ability to work a minimum of 2 weeks per month
- Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and a clean credentialing file
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, effective anesthesia care across a broad mix of surgical specialties
- Manage cases in general surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN, ENT, plastics, cardiothoracic, neuro, GI, vascular, thoracic, oncology, dental, and more
- Support trauma, pediatric, OB, and cardiothoracic procedures as part of a collaborative anesthesia team
- Deliver care in both supervised and independent case settings
- Participate in call rotation and weekend coverage as needed
- Work flexibly to support changing coverage needs across the anesthesia department
- Maintain a patient-centered approach while contributing to efficient case flow, teamwork, and clinical quality
