- Schedule: ASAP - Ongoing; highest need for scheduled cases; call availability is valued
- Job Setting: Level 2 Trauma Hospital (Aspirus St. Luke's Hospital) with 15 ORs, 4 endo suites, and ambulatory surgery locations; supervised model
- Types of Cases:
- General Anesthesia (Adult - Required; Pediatric - Preferred)
- Obstetrical Cases
- Neurosurgical Cases (Head and Spine)
- Thoracic Cases (except open heart)
- Complex Vascular Cases (except open heart)
- Complex Orthopedic Cases
- Trauma (Preferred)
- Pediatric ENT and other outpatient specialty areas
- Pain Management Techniques
- Ventilation Management
- Evaluation and Management of Acute Volume/BP Issues
- Arterial Line Placement
- Patient Encounters Per Shift: 4-5
- Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 days
Minimum Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required
- Certifications:
- ACLS - Required
- BLS - Required
- PALS - Required
- Licensure: Active Minnesota, will consider IMLC
- Fellowship: Required
- Pediatric Training: Required (specifically for ENT and outpatient specialty areas)
