: Boise, Nampa, Caldwell, and Ontario Idaho/Oregon region (flexible based on organizational need and candidate preference)


Schedule
: M-F with a minimum of 32 patient contact hours per week; 4-day work week available.


Call
: Weekend and evening call shared equitably 1:6. Inpatient unit covered by a dedicated team of Oncology Hospitalists and APP s, and limited consultative responsibilities for outpatient Oncologists.

Become part of a physician led 650+ provider multispecialty group with a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care. Practice within a regionally integrated oncology network spanning multiple sites with locations in Boise, Nampa, Caldwell, and Ontario and telemedicine opportunities through the region. This full-spectrum practice is QOPI certified and CoC accredited, offering rewarding opportunities including over 100 clinical trials. The integrated program also has leading surgical expertise with the State's only fellowship-trained Surgical Oncologist along with other highly specialized physicians to support a growing program.


Support:
Full-service cancer centers with medical, radiation, and surgical oncology offer integrative care team support with nurse navigators, social work support, genetics counseling, spiritual counseling, and nutritionist. Dedicated 10-bed inpatient unit at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise.


Weekly tumor boards provide opportunity to collaborate with our fellowship trained surgeons in breast, plastic/reconstruction, GYN oncology, colorectal, neurosurgery, thoracic and esophageal. Innovative programs include lung cancer screening, lung nodule clinic, neuro oncology, high-risk breast clinic, and robust clinical trials.


Requirements:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree;
  • Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Internal Medicine residency program & Medical Oncology/Hematology fellowship;
  • Board certified or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment;
  • Obtain Oregon and Idaho medical licensure and granting of privileges at SAMC-Nampa, SARMC-Boise and other health system affiliated hospitals as needed;
  • Valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
  • Open to considering Visa candidates.
