Position Overview:A locum tenens Nocturnist Hospitalist is needed to provide inpatient adult coverage due to staffing shortages and increased patient volume. This is a night-shift role with a focus on admissions and general inpatient care.
Schedule:Night shifts:5:00 PM 5:30 AM
6:00 PM 6:30 AM
Multiple coverage blocks available from June through December
Orientation: 6 8 hours prior to first shift
Clinical Details:Practice Setting: Inpatient Adult Medicine
Patient Volume: patients per shift
Procedures: None required
EMR: Epic
Responsibilities:Admit and manage adult inpatients during night shifts
Provide cross-coverage as needed (to be confirmed)
Participate in codes/rapid responses (to be confirmed)
Collaborate with hospital staff and support teams
Requirements:Board Certification: ABIM (Internal Medicine only; ABFM not accepted)
Licensure: North Dakota license or IMLC
