    Job Details
  • Registered Nurse position in Medical/Surgical Telemetry specialty.
  • Role involves working in a resource pool for Med/Surg Telemetry patients.
  • Assignment duration is approximately 6 months.
  • Shift hours are from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
    Job Requirements
  • Must have a valid nursing license with verification dated within 30 days of start.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification required for all direct patient care personnel.
  • ACLS certification required for RNs in critical care areas including CCU, ED, PACU, MICU, SICU; relevant here due to Telemetry specialty.
  • NIHSS certification is optional and not required for this role as the facility does not specialize in stroke care.
  • TNCC certification is optional.
  • Must complete Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing within a year prior to start.
  • Must comply with Trinity Health Code of Conduct and other professional and background checks as required.
    Schedule Information
  • Shift: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
  • Every other holiday schedule.
    Unit Specific Information
  • Role is for Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit resource pool.
    Additional Details
  • Fit Test required prior to start.
  • Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen required within 30 days of start, must be completed and resulted before start with MRO signature.
  • COVID-19 vaccine proof required with booster by September 2025 or declination/exemption (declination not accepted in CA or IL).
  • MMR vaccination proof or IgG titer required.
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series required with proof.
  • Influenza vaccine proof or declination optional.
  • 2 Step PPD or IGRA required with chest xray if positive as per region guidelines.
  • Varicella vaccination proof or IgG titer required.
  • Physical/Health Statement from exam within last year required.
  • Trinity Profile including resume, skills checklist, and references required.
  • Trinity Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form required.
  • Trinity Criminal Background Check within 30 days of start required.
  • Trinity Education Verification required.
  • Trinity EPLS and GSA/OIG checks within 30 days required.
  • Trinity Joint Commission Testing (CORE Exam) within a year required.
  • Trinity NSO check within 30 days required.
  • Trinity System Access Form to be completed one week before start.
  • Trinity Skills Checklist provided by agency for clinical contractors.
  • Tdap vaccine required or declination accepted if no pediatric interaction.
  • Trinity Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training required for Iowa.
  • Iowa Sing Report required within 30 days prior to start.
  • Trinity OFAC check to be completed within 30 days of start.
