Position Details
- Location: San Diego, CA
- Setting: Outpatient Internal Medicine Military Treatment Facility
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime hours between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM

- $155-$160/hr negotiable

What You'll Be Doing
You will provide comprehensive outpatient primary care and preventive medicine services to adult patients within an integrated federal healthcare system. Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions, performing comprehensive evaluations and physical examinations, developing and executing treatment plans, ordering and interpreting diagnostic studies, coordinating specialty referrals, and maintaining accurate electronic medical records. You will also participate in clinical and administrative meetings and support graduate medical education through resident and student teaching activities.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
- Active, unrestricted California medical license
- Current DEA registration as applicable
- Ability to obtain military facility credentials and meet federal security requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
