Overview:
Our outpatient diagnostic imaging center is seeking a Physician Assistant to provide direct patient care in an outpatient diagnostic setting. This part-time role offers a structured weekly schedule, competitive hourly compensation, and a supportive clinical team environment. Our position provides training for specialized procedural support when needed.
Position Offers:
- Part-time schedule: 1 day/week (Tuesday or Wednesday preferred), 8 10 hour shifts
- Potential expansion to a second day within 6 12 months
- Competitive compensation: $60.00 $65.00 per hour DOE

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in an outpatient diagnostic setting
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures for safety and comfort
- Recognize and respond to adverse reactions or medical emergencies
- Deliver immediate clinical support during urgent situations
- Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards
- Collaborate with radiology and clinical staff to support efficient workflow
- Document patient encounters, outcomes, and clinical observations accurately
- Support quality of care and patient experience initiatives
Qualifications:
- Active Physician Assistant license in the state of Michigan
- 2 3 years of clinical experience preferred; strong new graduates considered
- Strong clinical judgment with ability to respond to urgent situations
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently in an outpatient clinical environment
