Clinical Responsibilities:
As a Cardiology PA, you will play a key role in delivering comprehensive cardiovascular care. Responsibilities include:
• Conducting patient evaluations, including history, physical exams, and risk assessments
• Managing and monitoring patients with cardiac conditions in a hospital setting
• Assisting in the development and execution of treatment and care plans
• Collaborating with cardiologists and healthcare teams for coordinated care
• Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed
• Providing patient education on cardiac health, medications, and lifestyle modifications
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation within EMR systems
Schedule & Assignment Details:
• Start Date: August 1, 2026
• End Date: January 15, 2027
• Schedule: 4 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday)
• Shift Hours: 8:00 AM 6:00 PM
• Shift Length: 10 hours (includes 30-minute unpaid meal break)
• Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 90 days
• Position Type: Full-Time (1 FTE)
Required Qualifications:
• Licensed Physician Assistant (PA) in New York
• Active New York State License (required)
• Prior experience in cardiology or hospital-based care preferred
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based hospital environment
• Must be COVID-19 and influenza vaccinated
