Job Summary: Under direct supervision, performs gross descriptions of simple or limited specimens. Assists during autopsies, prepares frozen section slides, and may perform routine histology tasks. Responsibilities include following authorized technical procedures, meeting turn-around times for testing and reporting, receiving and registering specimens, calibrating instruments, labeling tissue cassettes, preparing frozen tissue sections, performing gross descriptions, assisting in autopsies, photographing specimens, and complying with safety policies. The role also involves professional development, annual competency assessments, and other assigned duties.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of laboratory technical experience
