Job description

Radiation Oncologist
Position Overview

Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Radiation Oncologist to provide hospital-based coverage. The physician will deliver radiation oncology treatments in an outpatient setting with no call or weekend responsibilities.

Compensation:

$330/hr

Schedule
Start Date: July 13, 2026
Contract Length: 2 months
Coverage Options:
2 days per week (8-hour shifts), or
5 days every other week
Monday Friday
7:30 AM 3:30 PM
No call
No weekends
Practice Setting
Hospital-based Radiation Oncology
Adult and Geriatric patients
Approximately 8 10 shifts per month
Average daily volume:
treatment visits
1 consultation
Responsibilities
Evaluate and manage radiation oncology patients
Develop and oversee radiation treatment plans
Perform patient consultations
Deliver and supervise radiation therapy treatments
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary oncology team
Required Procedures
Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT)
Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT)
3D Conformal Radiation Therapy
Preferred Experience
Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT)
Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS)
EMR
Meditech
Transitioning to Cerner
Requirements
Board Certified in Radiation Oncology or Board Eligible within 5 years of training
Active Pennsylvania medical license
DEA required
BLS certification required
ACLS required only if requesting moderate/conscious sedation privileges
1 2 years of experience preferred
Additional Information
Approximately 200-bed hospital.
No travel restrictions; airfare, lodging, and rental car or mileage are reimbursed.
No call or weekend responsibilities.
Active Pennsylvania license is required at presentation.
