Position Responsibilities
Evaluate patients prior to surgical procedures, including review of medical history, medications, and risk factors
Develop individualized anesthesia care plans
Administer and monitor anesthesia before, during, and after surgical procedures
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative process
Collaborate with surgeons, nursing staff, and healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Required Qualifications
M.D. or D.O. from an accredited school of medicine
Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency Program
Minimum of three (3) years of clinical anesthesiology experience
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
Active Nevada Medical License (or ability to obtain)
Nevada Pharmacy Board License to Prescribe Medications
DEA Controlled Substance Registration Certificate
Preferred Qualifications
Board Certified in Anesthesiology
Fellowship training or Board Certification in Pediatrics is preferred but not required
Preferred Certifications
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
